The Alliance National Registration Exam is an objective measure of the retention and understanding of the components of training as required by IMSLEC and ALTA®. Applicants who hold certification from The Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (AOGPE) or Wilson Language Training (WLT), and International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC) accredited course graduates are eligible to sit for the Alliance exams. Other interested candidates can submit their credentials for review. The purpose of the exam is to provide verifiable standards by which individuals are recognized as having achieved the highest level of competency in the field of Dyslexia Education.

Successful completion of the Alliance Exam qualifies an individual to apply for membership in The Academic Language Therapy Association® (ALTA).
